Welcome back to school. A New Year to explore, learn and grow! The virtue for January is: creativity.
We have decided to be creative and decorate our classroom doors. Ask me about the ideas that we discussed as a group...

Doors in the Air is the story of a boy who is fascinated by doors. He marvels at how stepping through a doorway can take him from one world to another. He is especially enthralled by the doors of his imagination, which he refers to as “doors in the air.” He delights in discovering that when he passes through these doors, he leaves behind all feelings of boredom, fear and unpleasantness.  We discussed how we wanted to use our imaginations and be creative with our door....

We started letter Jj for January (the first month of 2015). Ask me what sound does it make.... We read the book,

Your child will bring home a note about swimming starting on January 19th - 23rd. This is a record sheet of their swimming experience. Please fill in the information and return it promptly by tomorrow. The swimming permission forms will be sent home in a few days. We always welcome volunteers!
