No school Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13 due to Teachers' Convention. No school Monday, February 16 due to Family Day.



                                                          
Some parents are interested in sending Valentine cards for the students. If you would like to send cards tomorrow, please make sure you provide a card for EVERY student in the class. If you are interested, please email me: almalik@cbe.ab.ca and I will send you the class list.

Though we appreciate your kindness, please do not send any other treats or snacks.

We have been trying to skip and we were having some difficulty with the rhythm
  of skipping. Ms. Inge suggested that we try skipping with hoops.. Today in gym..

In Math,
                                Ask me how are these spheres the same and different
                                Think of some attributes... size, colour, shape..
           
                                                 These twig spheres are....
                             Gabby said, " I am comparing these balls. They are the same."

While sorting shells.. My little scientists were trying to hear the sound and predicted that it sounds like an ocean....


Exploring 5 in different ways.. Ask me how Mason and Elliana grouped 5

Ask me which hand has more shells..
Some students found patterns and compared how they were the same or different..
Ask me to look at the shells and tell you
