Today we practiced our new virtue of the month  
                       
Mrs. Traquair: Flexibility is being open to change. When you are flexible you change and adapt. It is being open to the opinions and feelings of others. Flexibility is making changes for the better.

Ask me how I was flexible today? During our morning message... some of us wanted to check the weather... Ask me what we did?

  and practiced sorting buttons in different ways...

                  Ask me different ways we can sort or categorize buttons or different things

                      Gabby sorted his buttons by colour and that all the buttons had4 holes

  We listened for some rhyming words..

The elephant's nose is like a hose!  The cat, bat and mouse are in a house. 

While we were out for recess my little nature lovers found a butterfly flying...

                      

                                We followed the butterfly and found....

An ant camouflaged...   can you find it with me..

Ask me about our nature adventure...

                                          We found a bee...   We couldn't believe it..

                                            A spider..

Right after we came in we read this beautiful book..

                              Ask me why zebras get together in a herd if they see a predator

               From today, our Kindergarten class has started to watch the Enmax live camera of
                        especially set up for the Osprey nest...   The two Osprey's return each

                                                 At the Calgary zoo...

 Notice the time and the date...

We checked on it a few times.... Ask me what did I see...

                                                 Another Osprey came.... Ask me about it...

We read,

  Ask me about this book.... How can we get rid of our anger...

        Anh does tire his anger with all that walking and counting...

                                                Ask me how I helped Anh's anger  disappear...

                                                  We breathed in and out.... one step at a time

              Ask me to look at all patterns and tell you which one is a pattern and which one is not..

   We read this book again and practiced staying in our own personal space

Thank you to all the parents for signing and returning the Zoo field trip forms promptly. Kindergarten classes will be visiting the Calgary Zoo on Friday, May 8, 2015.
