A notice was sent home. As you know our school practices fire drills several times during the year to ensure that students and staff know what to do in case of a real fire. Another safety procedure is an "off-site evacuation" Our site is Renfrew Education Center- 2050, 21 street NE. Please read the notice and if you have any question, please feel free to email me or call me.

Kindergarten students in Room 8 will be walking with the Grade 5/6's to our evacuation site tomorrow May 26, 2015. 

We read this book again,  and we 
                                                            observed the

                                                    changes in our caterpillars...

            -They were fat and plump

            - The artificial food was picked and digged in

             - The white line going across the caterpillar body was very white

             - The hair on the caterpillars were standing and prickly

                -There were webs all round in the container

                -We had 10 caterpillars and 1 seemed to be dead...

                                      Ask me how many caterpillars do we have.....

                       -One caterpillar was still very skinny.... hmmmm not eating enough  

                                    We also observed that there were a few moltings...
                                                        Ask me to explain....

                                     We also finished our life cycle of a butterfly art work

For Q we read,

We learnt a new word   from this book....   fable     ask me to explain

    Ask me about this book....  We also looked for letter Qq

We completed our sunflower bulletin board..

Please notice each flower has a different centre....

                          We are all unique and special just like our sunflowers...

Calgary Bike to School Day 2015 on June 2^nd
