                     We finished our plasticine art project inspired by Barbara Reid Books...
                        Kindergarten students did a wonderful job of looking at Barbara Reid's                                      videos and books to add details to their project. Well done!

Classroom Gardens are ready to Harvest

 Tuesday, June 23 @ 10 am

We will offer each student the opportunity to choose from a 
variety of vegetables to make their own pita.

Sudents will eat their pita with their classmates and their teachers 
just before recess 

This is a snack; it will not replace a lunch

We will harvest our tomatoes, lettuce, basil and beans from the classroom gardens

The following is a list of other food choices that will be offered:





Pita
Cucumbers
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Mustard
Mayo
Hummus
Cheese – shredded marble



 If there are ingredients you do NOT want you child to eat please contact the teacher

If you observe Ramadan we can put the pita in a bag for your child to bring home, 
please let the teacher know. Thanks

Just a reminder of the upcoming Clean Up and Neighbour day event this Saturday June 20th  to be held at the Crossroads Furniture Mart from 9am until 2pm.

We are still looking for some Volunteers to unload vehicles and direct traffic.  We will have work gloves and safety vests on hand.  Please call 403-880-0922  If you would like to volunteer, we would appreciate if you could arrive by 8:45am. (Volunteers will also receive a free lunch)

Key reminders: 
  • Items will NOT be accepted after 2pm, and the possibility exists that the dump truck and bin for metals will be full up before then. 
  • Items accepted:  tires, steel, miscellaneous metals and appliances, electronics, trees, shrubs, and general trash.
  • THERE WILL ALSO BE Free : FACEPAINTING, SNACKS , GAMES, and a DJ , 
  • There will also be FOOD FOR PURCHASE by Take It and Go Food Truck.  STAY AND HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS!!
