           Today was a an adventurous day..... with lots of learning and excitement!
 The first thing that we do is OBSERVE.... Ask me what did we see... Only 1 chrysalis hanging...
             Butterfly fruit had hardened...      The sugar water (like nectar) was almost finished...





Noor found this butterfly hiding under the wood..    camouflaged

We read the book... Is butterfly an insect?
Right away we got busy with making artificial nectar for our butterflies..

We also did an experiment .... feeling the cold water..

                                                           Ask me what am I feeling...    the jug is ....

It flew to our colour wall  and ask me all about our experience of capturing the butterfly ...

Thank you for bringing the flowers so our butterflies can drink some real nectar!


Finally caught it and it is back in our habitat.Wow!.......
We sat outside in our garden , read a book and had our snack...

    I was so impressed when I visited your classroom yesterday. What amazing learning you are doing in kindergarten! (Are you sure that you are still in kindergarten?) The art that you have on display in your classroom and the hallways is lovely ... I hope that you don't mind if I share it in a newsletter for other kindergarten teachers to see (they are sure to be inspired!).
