Reminder: Calgary Stampede Pancake Breakfast – 9:00 am Thursday, June 25th @ Vista Heights School
Please join us for a breakfast of pancakes, chicken sausages and syrup. All members of our families are welcome!
-Students will enter the school as usual at the 8:50 am bell and go to their classes for attendance.
-Family members can line-up outside on the compound and students will join their families in the line @ 9:00 am
-Weather permitting we will eat breakfast outdoors, so bring a blanket to sit on, if you wish.
-If you observe Ramadan we will provide Ziploc bags for you to take the breakfast home.
*NO breakfast program at the school on Thursday, June 25th.
We asked our students a very important question....where did all of these ingredients for the pita come from?
Where do cucumbers come from?
Where does lettuce come from?
Where do tomatoes come from?
Where does the pita come from?
Where does mustard come from?
The students were given t-shirts from Little Green Thumbs to remind them of all their learning with the gardens throughout the school year - this t-shirt is theirs to keep!

Vista Heights Community Garden
Today two ladies from the Community Garden project came to show us the garden that has been built by the north side of the Vista Heights School. Please contact Megan Dell for additional information call 403-472-0378.
