Butterflies Update!

We read this page and some of the students wanted to go find a butterfly egg..

Looking for eggs...

and guess what...

We found an egg..... wow!

While searching, we found another egg... We are real naturalist..

We have an eye for nature!

Caterpillars eat their skin... It has lots of protein Look and point the differences...

We have started an author study about Barbara Reid. We are going to start an art project with Plasticine. Ask me how Barbara makes the illustrations in her books. We read Effie yesterday and looked at the illustrations closely. Click on the link to watch

We read a book about time.

What is time? Time is how long something takes....

Ask me what are some of the things
I do in the morning...

Ask me what time is noon..

What do we do in the evening.. What do I do at night?
Ask me, When do I eat breakfast? When do I eat lunch? When do I play outside? When do I eat supper? When do I sleep?

Ask me what time do we have snack?

and talked about different things and animals that are the same if you draw a line in the middle.

some one had picked one of Noor's found her match..

Next she mixes plasticine colours to get the colours she wants.... Lots of layers to get a 3D effect!
