Tuesday, June 23 @ 10 am (tomorrow)
We will offer each student the opportunity to choose from a
variety of vegetables to make their own pita.
Students will eat their pita with their classmates and their teachers
just before recess
This is a snack; it will not replace a lunch
We will harvest our tomatoes, lettuce, basil and beans from the classroom gardens
The following is a list of other food choices that will be offered:
Cucumbers
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Mustard
Mayo
Ranch Dressing
Cheese – shredded marble
If there are ingredients you do NOT want you child to eat please contact the teacher
If you observe Ramadan we can put the pita in a bag for your child to bring home,
please let the teacher know. Thanks!
Tent Caterpillars Update!
It is amazing how the caterpillars spin their cocoons...
Engaged and observing....
We read,
Ask me how I can be in charge of my feelings,
my body, my actions.....
Comparing the differences between a moth and a painted lady butterfly....
We started writing about the differences..... Ask me to tell you a few..
We read
Is this a fiction or a non-fiction book...
Today when we went for our nature walk we also went
to visit our community garden...
Ask me how did it feel .... sitting under the tree..
Ask me what we saw...
We read,
Ask me about the story...
Thank you Grade 5/6's for inviting us to fly kites!
Enjoy learning with me....
Thanks, Bring nature in your classroom
